lita ford is the orginal chick lead vocals no body can beat her. i also like laguna coil with christina. she is another great vocalist.

OH yah I forgot about Veruca Salt, I loved their cd. Eight Arms to Hold you... that was really good...

Definitely Heart

There are definitely some singers on this list I will have to check out. Of course I like Ann from Heart, Chrissie Hynde(Pretenders), Joan Jett and Aimee Mann. But the one name that is not on this list probably has the best voice of all and that's Johnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde. Yes she wrote the songs and played bass but when it came down to playing live she could WAIL with emotion more than anyone! Listen to the track "Heal It UP" i'm sure you will agree.

I really enjoy Amy Lee's vocals from Evanescence, but all time fave female lead band is Drain STH

People are missing out on the brief legacy Christine Amphlett of the Divinyls has left. They were much more than 'I Touch Myself'. Their ealy stuff rocked. Check out the vid 'In My Life' on youtube. Awesome stage presence and cool as any front woman I've ever seen.

Currently it is The Luchagors featuring singer Amy Dumas [who also wrestled as "Lita" in the WWE]... Cleveland band Cellbound featuring singer Chris Emig is pretty awesome too!
