No Alice Cooper? No Deep Purple? No KISS? No Ted Nugent? ..... Hell, even SLAYER should be eligible!.... they influenced tons of bands over the decades!

Iron Maiden deserves to be on that as well, Madonna is not even rock so why the hell would she be on there anyways?

I think Marilyn Manson, deserves a spot in it as well, as anyone else. And I also think, they should put Guns N' Roses in there(if not already in it.) And also, System of a Down, Distrubed, and also Korn. And ESPECIALLY Metallica. I mean, come on? They should be in there for all they have done over the years. Ozzy Osbourne, should be to unless he already is. So should DIO. AND, Twisted Sister.

MOTLEY CRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!...... Should be in but as a true CRUE HEAD the CRUE aint sell outs so they probily dont care if there in ore out. There about the music the fans and as always the young and the young at heart. Besides the hall of shame couldnt handel THE WHITE TRASH CIRCUS!

There's alot that deserve to be inducted, but one that stands out for me is Joe Cocker!! His first album came out in 1969 & he's still touring & releasing music today!! He's been elgible for induction since 1994, which is a travesty.

The Rock and Roll hall of fame is a joke. It has nothing to do with actual talent or influence, it's all about the sell outs. Actually I think it is more of an honor to be left out.

I've been the to Rock n Roll Hall of Fame quite a few times. Here are my observations about what is wrong with it.

1. Iggy Pop and the Stooges are not inductees. (This is totally wrong since they have been so influencial with several bands that are currently inductees.)

2. Where is David Lee Roth in the inductee video when Van Halen is being featured? I looked around the museum and I didn't see any mention of David Lee Roth.

3. No Rush, No Dream Theater. I totally agree with Mikeyesfan. Loon99 said it. Jan Wenner hates rock bands with talent.

4. Do they really have to display Jim Morrison's report card? I'd rather see a famous instrument or lyric sheet. Do we really need to see representations of Jimi Hendrix's wardrobe? If you don't have the real thing, it doesn't need to be displayed.

Yes to Yes. How about Phil Collins/Genesis and Steve Miller, also? Many gaps can be found in those who make it and those who don't. Madonna and Run DMC being in proves deep flaws in their selection process. I'm glad someone is somewhat on my wavelength here.

OK, i just voted vor YES. It's true that they should have their place in rock history.
But what could make the life easier for us rockers? TOLERANCE!!! I can't understand why you call Madonna a slut. Because she (and others) play a kind of misic you don't like ?
My parents couldn't unterstand me when I bought my first records of Kiss, Meat Loaf and Van Halen.
My grandparents couldn't understand my parents when they went dancing to the music of Buddy Holly or The Beatles.
You can see, everything stays the same...even intolerance!
So try to enjoy your favourite music, it does not matter if they got grammys, stars in the concrete of walk of fame or whatever.

rockers like. I've heard he hates bands like Yes, Rush, Reo, Journey
J-Tull and Styx. Why, I don't know, and they all deserve to be in NOW!
Hell, this year one of the finalists was WAR, and I thought cool, they
deserve to be in, and who gets in? Run Dmc. Run Dmc, who had one Rap
(I won't call it a song). And it wasn't even theirs (Walk this way).
Did you notice though that Jann found a way to get himself elected
into the hall of shame, even though all he has done is be co creator
of Rolling Stone magazine (That has sucked mind you for the past 25 years)
