Hopefully now maybe Rush gets nominated in a year or two.
Only because I NEVER thought Jann Wenner and his gang of
idiots would ever nominate Kiss. They've been known to
dog Kiss in the past. And Rush to. You still see their
mindset just by looking at this years noms (LL Cool J ?)

They shouldnt call it the Rock and Roll hall of fame it should be the music hall of fame way to many genres to be labeled rock and roll!! I agree with kiss and genesis, the hollies as well , How about rush? madian,the list can go on and on!!

Yes there are a few I disagree with. Hall of Fame to me usually means persons that have retired or passed away. Just like the Nascar Hall of Fame which recently picked five Racers or that of who had a lot to do with Nascar Racing were placed in it's Hall of Fame. This list is quit different then all other Hall of Fames!!

Kiss is the only band on the list that should be voted in. It's just sad.

just out of curiousity aren't the Scorpions worthy of being in the R & R hall of fame too? Bad Company, i agree with Red Hot Chili Peppers, probably too soon but Pantera should be inducted into it some time eventually.

Let's see...The stooges, Kiss, Genesis, ****, and the Hollies

Only five can get in. I hope it's; 1. The Hollies, 2. Genesis
3. Kiss 4. The Stooges. Number 5 maybe the Chili Peppers, but
it's way too early for them in my opinion. (Of course U2 are
already in way too early)

I guess KISS should be there, but they were not the groundbreaking band that I normally think belong in the R&RHoF. The Stooges were groundbreaking and inspired a whole punk scene, even to this day. As you do, I think the Hollies are a long time coming. However, Disco and hip hop do not belong in the hall. Both have done there best to eliminate real rock.
