The most annoying part about someone describing 80's music, is when they refer to it as "hair bands". No I was not into hairspray and spandex, however I thought the music was totally cool! There were some bad songs, but there always is. Today is no different. I remember it as ass-kicking guitars and drum. I don't believe there are too many people that are not familiar with Welcome To The Jungle, Talk Dirty, Girls Girls Girls, etc.

sceaming for vengence, ride the lighting, appetite for destruction, shout at the devil, just some of the 80,s albums, that did not have 1 bad song on them, which is hard to do nowa days and back then!!!!!

Foreigner - late 70's to late 80's mostly. But like Heart, simply wonderful no matter what year you listen to.

Besides F&H, more of my faves include Fleetwood Mac (60's onward) and Paul Rodgers, with & without Bad Company. I like him more w/his solo & BadCo stuffs than his current work w/Queen, because I miss Freddie.
