Quarterflash was the merging of two bands from the Portland area; Seafood Mama and Pilot. I thought this was the same Pilot that had the top 10 hit Magic in 1975 but apparantley not. Quarterflash only had 1 top 10 album in 1982. Their 1983 release peaked at 34. A 1985 release peaked at 50 and then they packed it in.

Im certain this is not true. Chrissy Hynde comes to mind. Deborah Harry and Stevie Nicks also. Getting back to Chrissy Hynde she is missing from your list.

Blondie is the name of a band fronted by Deborah Harry. While the music of Blondie definitely had some disco elements I think the band's music should be categorized as New Wave Pop . Deborah also had a solo career which did'nt really take off. Her most succesful solo hit was "French Kissing In The USA". This song was very big on alternative-college radio. It peaked at 57 on the Hot 100 in 1986.
