im
refering
to
that
metal
show,you
guys
really
should
include
some
thrash
and
deathmetal
and
grindcore,maybe
even
some
blackmetal,enough
will
all
the
loser
poser
retarded
bands
like
poison
and
guns
and
roses,play
some
really
fast
angry
talented
metal,like
death
or
deicide,gorguts,morbid
angel,malevolant
creation,dying
fetus,or
some
old
sepultura,napalm
death
or
something,enough
with
the
played
out
loser
heavy
metal
bands,try
to
incorporate
some
more

I
like
my
bass
tone
thick
&
meaty.
I
have
my
EQ
set
with
my
mids
&
lows
high.
I
use
a
little
bit
of
highs
to
brighten
up
my
tone
for
more
detail
like
for
when
I'm
using
the
Hungarian
scale
or
playing
jazzy
stuff.
But
not
to
much
so
I
don't
make
my
tone
sound
pingy
like
allot
of
modern
bassist
do.
I
want
my
bass
to
sound
like
a
bass.

For
bass
guitar,
the
midrange
is
the
key
(in
my
opinion).
I
always
have
my
graphic
EQ
on
my
amp
in
a
"frown".
Higher
mids
help
the
tone
cut
through.

I
love
having
different
combinations
of
speaker
sizes.
You
get
more
mid
&
low
tone
detail.
For
practice
I
have
a
Fender
Bassman
combo
amp.
I
like
Bassman
because
they
also
sound
good
when
you
play
a
guitar
through
them.
I'm
mainly
getting
the
Laney
because
of
Iommi.
But
it
does
sound
killer.

bought
in
1988.
A

15,
and
a
4
X
10.
Replaced
now
by
a
Carvin
R600
combo
amp.

Not
much
going
on
here.
One
of
my
Marshall
Heads
needs
repairs.
I
think
its
a
blown
tube.
I
just
put
money
down
on
a
vintage
Laney
half
stack.
The
head
&
cabinet
just
need
some
cosmetic
work.
