I'M
"80's
girl"
I
was
raised
on
good
music
from
the
70's
(my
parents
music)
Neil
Diamond,Beach
Boys,Comadoors,Barry
Manilow,THe
Spinners,the
Stylistics,
and
I
like
The
Blues.
I
like
most
types
of
music
except
for
country
and
doo
***.Then
came
1980
I
was
13.the
music
changed
it
was
good.

HI
and
I
listen
to
all
kinds
of
music-
from
R&B
and
soul
to
rock
and
metal
and
alternative.
I
like
to
keep
up
with
the
new
stuff
as
music
is
an
ever
evolving
thing.
I
like
to
know
the
roots
and
see
where
it
is
going.
But,
rap
is
out
for
me,
except
for
the
Beasty
Boys-somehow
I
like
them
and
am
clueless
as
to
why.But
all
music
is
good
music.
I
must
add
that
I
will
NOT
ever
listen
to
the
new
country-yuk!
I
like
the
old
stuff
but
this
new
stuff
is
just
wanna
be
rock.
Peace
out!

Occasionally.
My
mom
listens
to
B
93.7
and
that
station
has
a
lot
of
rap
so
there's
usually
a
song
that
gets
stuck
in
my
head.

Andy
I'm

:)
lol
I
like
classic
country
also.
Though
I
don't
care
for
today's
country.
In
my
opinion
today's
country
sounds
like
bad
classic
rock
with
good
production.

Out
side
of

I
like
classical
music,traditional
hungarian
music,blues,traditional
flamingo,instrumental
bluegrass,folk
music,
&
jazz.
As
a
musician
the
blues
&
folk
helped
my
with
having
a
solid
grasp
of
melody.
Classical
music,traditional
hungarian
music,jazz,traditional
latin
flamingo,
&
bluesgrass
helped
me
get
my
technical
chops.
Most
of
your
technically
sound
musicians
have
learned
some
of
the
styles
in
my
list.
You
can't
listen
to
allot
of
metal
with
out
hearing
technics
from
traditional
hungarian
music,classical
music,folk
music,traditional
latin
flamingo,
to
bluegrass,jazz,
&
blues.
You
can't
progress
as
a
musician
with
out
a
open
mind.
