A little bored! Question: Why do you still like music from the 80s?

because nowadays you here a song like "crank dat superman" and it makes u wanna gag! BLECCHHH!! and after that u turn to another station and they are playing "we're not gonna take it" you are pumping your fist, and singin along while driving and other people see u and think you're crazy or just look silly singing along to the music! but u were a KID when u first heard it! i went from 8 to 17 thru the 80s and i would totally relive it if i could!... more

The best songs are not always hits

AC/DC's "flick of the switch"! anything from flick of the switch and fly on the wall. evem "ain't no fun waiting round to be a millionaire" and "ride on" from dirty deeds! Van Halen's "feel your love" and even "everybody wants some" and "good enough" Bon Jovi's "raise your hands" that was a great song! Def Leppard's "gods of war" was an incredible song!... more

i still don't see anything wrong with this request! even some other countdown ideas would include like i don't know "50 greatest gangsta rap songs" or even better yet the "top 20 AC/DC songs" or even like "50 best sports jams" that is of the old school variety. "top 20 best michael jackson videos" maybe even a Van Halen countdown... more

i agree! what a voice! i don't believe any other singer could get as high as him!!! Dickinson prolly 2nd with such a strong vibraton that i've never heard anyone else do besides for Delp! but yeah 1. Brad Delp 2. Bruce Dickinson 3. Freddie Mercury 4. Dennis DeYoung 5. Steve Perry and i can't think of any more!... more

MTV's first video...

i think the very first video i seen on MTV that i can remember was "Jeopardy" by the Greg Kihn Band. its very sad what MTV has turned into! in the last 10 years the best stuff on mtv is Jackass, Viva La Bam, Rob & big, NItro Circus and Fantasy Factory! very few stuff anymore. maybe, just like vh1 classic, there will be an MTV classic channel comin out! where its all 80s and early 90s stuff including the commercials as well!... more
